Our remote location, the wars, poverty,and negative culture toward education especially for young ladies, has made more then 40% of the older women and men illiterate. As Melissa heard the women say that they could not read the Bible brought her to tears and prayer. God had a simple answer, teach them to read. God provided 6 acres of land where construction has started on a literacy center and the first public library in this region, a rehab center,and a place for families to spend time together. All with the primary goal of sharing the gospel, continuing to show God’s love, growing the relationships all for God’s glory.
